"We are Growing in Leaps and Bounds"
The U.S Committee for a Free Lebanon was founded in July 1997 with the focus on delivering news, topics and intelligence as they break to our international visitors. Our visitors do not have to sort through numerous articles to find articles they are interested in reading. How do we do this? USCFL's Research staff scours the web looking for articles we know our site visitors would be interested in reading based on our continual site surveys. We never promise the most news articles, but we do promise the best analysis because we know what our readers are interested in reading.
Major media outlets have long been the source for immediate, breaking news for the public. Sadly, these outlets have become “liberalized” and only report on stories and events with a liberal bias and only when all the facts have been verified. The Internet is changing all this. We have learned if one really wants to find breaking stories, don’t go to the major networks, go to the web. In fact, the web is where most major outlets go to get their news. Why is this?
News just doesn’t rush to the major media outlets bypassing local news outlets. In fact, usually a local station will get the report first. This information is then usually placed somewhere on the web and the “local” public will not see it until either the 6:00pm or 11:00pm news. If the news event has enough facts verified and is good enough for a “major media outlet”, the information is then forwarded to one of these outlets for reporting. However, many important news items are out on the web awaiting confirmation of facts before reporting on major outlets. USCFL continually surfs the web looking for these breaking events, which are of interest to our sophisticated readers.
USCFL's site visitors are learning they do not need to go to several news sources and sort through the articles to find news they are interested in reading because we have already done so. Our visitors are telling us we are on the right track with news and events and many of our loyal readers actually have cancelled subscriptions to their other news sources. USCFL is the one stop shop for breaking news, analysis, tops and issues of concern for the sophisticated viewer.
